Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017 | Celebs abound on the live “Hand in Hand” telethon.

Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, E! and Bravo at 8) Beyoncé, Jamie Foxx, Blake Shelton, Michael Strahan, Oprah Winfrey, Barbra Streisand and Reese Witherspoon are just some of the celebrities appearing during this one-hour live telethon, intended to aid those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Chopped Junior (Food at 8) The young cooks are tasked with a healthy fast-food challenge.

America’s Got Talent (NBC at 9) The semifinalists perform.

Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath (A&E at 9) The Emmy-winning docu-series explores the rise of David Miscavige, head of the Church of Scientology.


Chrisley Knows Best (USA at 10) Midseason premiere.


30 for 30: Year of the Scab (ESPN at 8) Director John Dorsey chronicles the football season of 1987 when NFL players went on strike, leaving more than 1,500 replacement players to controversially cross the picket line.

Martin Luther: The Idea That Changed the World (WETA and MPT at 8) Hugh Bonneville narrates this two-hour film about the 16th-century monk who was central to the Reformation movement.

Frontline — Abacus: Small Enough to Jail (WETA at 10) This documentary tells the story of the only U.S. bank prosecuted in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.


Top of the Lake (Sundance at 9) This miniseries, starring Elisabeth Moss and Nicole Kidman, ends with its final two chapters.
