Farm & Craft coming to central Phoenix's restaurant row

Farm & Craft, a Scottsdale restaurant focused on healthy food, will open in central Phoenix in early 2018, in the former

Well, that didn't take too long.

The central Phoenix space vacated in May by The Herb Box at The Colony will welcome another local restaurant, Farm & Craft.

Focused on healthy dishes, Farm & Craft debuted last year in downtown Scottsdale, at Sixth Avenue and Scottsdale Road. The Phoenix location is scheduled to open in early 2018 on on bustling Seventh Street just north of Missouri Avenue.

The restaurant will join Pure Sushi, Stock & Stable and Casa Añejo at The Colony.

“We saw an opportunity to bring this unique concept to The Colony and we plan to continue to grow the brand," said Ryan Hibbert, CEO of Riot Hospitality Group, which owns the Farm & Craft concept along with several others.

What to expect

Farm & Craft, which focuses on healthy dishes, will be a fast-casual concept during the day and full-service restaurant at night, just like the Scottsdale location. The food will be similar, with some signature dishes tailored for the Phoenix neighborhood.

Its "Wellness Menu" promotes four health categories:

  • The anti-inflammatory diet.
  • Increasing probiotic levels.
  • Maintaining high levels of antioxidants.
  • Stress-relieving foods.

Current dishes on the Scottsdale menu include kale pesto and chicken flatbread, salmon poke bowl and chocolate chia tiramisu.

The restaurant also features an indoor/outdoor bar serving organic spirits; cocktails made from cold-pressed juice and kombucha; and craft beer and wine on tap.
