FORECAST IN DETAIL

Today features the choicest weather of the weekend, and of the near future for that matter, thanks to emerging sun and lower humidity. Skies turn cloudier tomorrow as we start to trend more humid again. A few spotty showers are possible before we turn hotter by midweek.

Today (Sunday): Yesterday’s front lurks to our south as weak high pressure builds into the area behind it. We’ll still see some clouds from time to time, but on the whole skies should be at least partly sunny. And as the humidity drops off (dew points falling into the low 60s), highs head for the comfortable low-to-mid 80s, with light winds from the north. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: Humidity levels begin to creep back up into the moderate range, as winds come more from the east and northeast. That leads to increasing clouds overnight, with fairly pleasant lows in the mid-60s to near 70. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Monday): Onshore flow continues and that means a mostly cloudy day. The clouds should hold highs to the upper 70s to low 80s with moderate humidity, and could produce a few showers as well. Winds are generally from the east around 5-10 mph. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow night: A few spots of fog/drizzle are the only concerns as we move through tomorrow night. Skies remain on the cloudy side, with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. Confidence: Medium

A LOOK AHEAD

Skies brighten some as we head into Tuesday. That summery feel starts to make a comeback as well, with partly sunny skies pushing highs into the mid-80s. With high humidity back in place, a few light showers are possible. Expect a partly cloudy Tuesday night with lows in the upper 60s to mid-70s. Confidence: Medium

We continue warming into Wednesday. With mostly sunny skies, highs climb into the upper 80s to around 90. That comes with a slight chance of a pop-up shower or thunderstorm, as we start to settle into to a more familiar summer-time pattern. Confidence: Medium
