Las Vegas police are investigating a burglary at a southwest valley marijuana dispensary where a suspect on a bicycle made off with an undisclosed amount of product, according to Metro Police.

Officers were dispatched at about 3:45 a.m. today to Zen Leaf Vegas, 9120 W. Post Road, near Sunset and Fort Apache roads, dispatch logs show.

Arriving officers found a broken window and later determined that the BMX-style bicycle-riding suspect had taken an undisclosed amount of product, police said.

The burglary and the suspect were captured on surveillance images released by Metro this afternoon.

He was described as a black man in his early 30s. He wore a long-sleeve dark shirt, dark pants, gray Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers and a throwback Washington Redskins cap. He had a “small” mustache, police said.

The is the second burglary at a dispensary in the past week.

Four suspects were arrested after a burglary, in which a Metro Police officer fired a round from his shotgun during a chase, at the Blackjack Collective dispensary, 1860 Western Ave.

No one was injured and police this week said the men arrested were suspected in a series of burglaries at dispensaries and pharmacies across the valley over the past months in which suspects used crowbars to break into the businesses.

Information on whether the suspects arrested on Saturday have been linked to other burglaries wasn’t immediately available.

Anyone with any information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call 702-828-4809. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or crimestoppersofnv.com
