ATLANTIC CITY - The second day of a doubleheader weekend for the Red Bull Global Rallycross series continues Sunday at Bader Field.

Heavy rain and a crash delayed the racing on Saturday afternoon, but the thousands of fans who attended stayed until racing resumed shortly after 2 p.m. The .902-mile track features a 7-foot dirt ramp and a Joker section that drivers get to take once per heat to gain an advantage on the rest of the field.

Gates open at 11 a.m. for Sunday's qualifying and heat races in both Supercars and Lites. The Lites finals are scheduled for 4:45 p.m. and the Supercar final at 5:15 p.m. Tickets are from $45.

In round 8, held Saturday, former NASCAR and Formula 1 driver Scott Speed won for Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross in the Supercar final while Cyril Raymond took victory in the Lites class.

"The start went really well," Speed said. "I went into Turn 1 all by myself, but then the chaos ensued and we came out in like sixth.

We had to put the gloves on and fight, and we ended shuffling up to third by the end of the first lap. ... It all came down to the past two laps and making no mistakes, and it was a really hard-fought battle."
