A 20-year-old Clarendon Hills resident lists chocolate as her favorite food and chocolate milk as her favorite beverage.

Grace Dunn, 20, is a junior at the University of Michigan's School of Public Policy. The lifelong Clarendon Hills resident spent two months of a summer internship getting a closer look at how public policy works in real life.

Q: What was your internship?

A: I worked in office of U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, and it made me more interested in policy.

Q: What do you like best about being away at college?

A: There's a lot of freedom. I get to plan my own schedule.

Q: What do you like least about being away at college?

A: Cooking for myself

Q: What's your favorite food?

A: Chocolate

Q: What's your favorite beverage?

A: Chocolate milk

Q: What's your favorite area restaurant?

A: Can I say The Daily Scoop?

Q: What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

A: Chocolate chip cookie dough

Q: How about your favorite candy bar?

A: PayDay

Q: What do you like on your pizza?

A: Cheese and barbecue chicken

Q: Do you have any siblings?

A: I have two older brothers, Patrick and Ryan.

Q: When you were a little girl, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A: An author. I grew up reading the Harry Potter books.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: Writing and hanging out with friends

Q: What is your pet peeve?

A: When people are late

Q: Who is your favorite superhero?

A: Wonder Woman

Q: What's your favorite TV show?

A: 'Bloodline' and 'Scandal'

Q: Who is your favorite music artist?

A: Cage the Elephant

A: Going skydiving
