ORIGINAL STORY: Officers from several police agencies are involved in a SWAT situation at a Brookhaven business near I-85, a spokesman said Saturday morning.

Officers have surrounded a business with someone inside in the 1400 block of Northeast Expressway, Brookhaven police spokesman Brandon Gurley said in a statement.

Police responded to an alarm shortly after 5 a.m., and officers realized that a person was inside the business.

“Additional officers responded and surrounded the location,” Gurley said.

“Officers have had visuals of the suspect on the roof throughout the morning.”

Brookhaven SWAT is on the scene, as well as officers from Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Johns Creek, police said. Also, the DeKalb County police air unit has assisted.
