While every featured restaurant is certified delicious, not every food joint is light on the wallet. 

To help Houstonians grab an affordable yet mouthwatering bite to eat, Chron.com cut the list down to restaurants with the cheapest menus.

In total, 52 of Cook's selected restaurants were identified as relatively inexpensive.

Every year when Cook releases her list the Chronicle throws a party to let the public taste some of the city's best chefs. The event was postponed because of Harvey.

If you want to be part of the 2017 Top 100 event, you can get tickets to the Culinary Stars event, which will take place on Oct. 26 at 6:30 at the Houston Chronicle, 4747 Southwest Fwy.
